Over the years of helping Table Leaders with their stories, we have come to realize that there seem to be questions that we have to ask each time. Now we have compiled those questions into this post which will help both you and your Coordinator. It will help you dive into your topic, and it will help your Coordinator as your worksheets are compiled into a document. Just like the general questions, only the Coordinator working on your story will see these answers. Holly Erwin, the DW Women's Director will also have access to the answers, but only for the purpose of forwarding the answers to the appropriate Coordinator.
Topic Questions - Integrity
Integrity. That is a weighty word and rightfully so. The definition of integrity is often stated as who we are when no one is looking. Integrity is not reputation — others' opinion of us. Integrity is not success — our accomplishments. Integrity embodies the sum total of our being and our actions. Integrity is not something we have, but something we are. It inevitably shows itself in what we do and say. Integrity is needed because people are watching us. Will our behavior match our beliefs? Will our character correspond with our confession? While that is true it embodies so much more. Words like authenticity, honesty, and living with conviction also come to mind. The Institute of Behavior Motivation has found that 97 out of 100 people tell lies, doing so about a thousand times a year. Many of us would never outright lie, but we find it easy when asked how we are doing, it's easy to say we are fine when we aren't. We don't look at living our life from behind a mask that projects the image we want the world to see as living out a lie.
