To say that 2020 has been a hard year is the understatement of the century! For Discovery Weekends it meant we were only able to conduct half of our projected events for the year and we had some unexpected expenses as well. NEED A CLOSING SENTENCE TO THIS PARAGRAPH.
Our Women's Discovery Weekend this past November filled in 17 hours and we had close to 20 on a waiting list! Men and women are hungry to be in the presence of God - to experience His healing touch and to connect with others in the process. You are a vital part of our team! It's because of people like you believing in us, giving your time, talents, treasures, and prayers that we are able to do what we do. We CAN'T do this without you! Asking is never easy, but sometimes it is necessary. Holly and I work full-time for Discovery and we haven’t had a raise in 5 years. Will you please consider partnering with us monthly or perhaps giving a one time gift to help us meet our end of the year goal. As 2021 is about to dawn, we look expectantly to what lies ahead. It's our 25th year and there is lots to celebrate! |
