The Quest is not “Discovery Weekend” Part II; however, it certainly can be considered the next step in your spiritual journey. The Quest experience is designed for those who have attended a Discovery Weekend and desire more. Unlike Discovery, men and women can attend The Quest together. It is a guided journey into the depths of our Papa’s heart as we focus on two of the most important aspects of our spiritual life…identity and intimacy. What you'll learn during The Quest will not only excite you, but it will also dramatically impact your understanding of spiritual authority, your position in Christ, and more importantly, The Love Story within the pages of scripture, and why The Lover of our Soul pursues us with such fervor. You'll never read His Word the same again!

The Quest: A place to rest and revive your heart and soul...
The Timothy Center | December 8 - 10, 2017 | Baker, LA
What's the Schedule?
Our schedule for The Quest is much more "relaxed" than Discovery. We've intentionally incorporated some one on one time between you and Papa as part of the process. You may arrive as early as 3 PM on Friday to relax and enjoy some quiet time or fellowship with the other folks, and then, we will enjoy dinner together at 6 PM. We will begin our first session promptly at 7 PM (you guessed it!). Saturday is a full day! We will wrap up the event no later than noon on Sunday.
Who can attend?
Anyone who has attended a Discovery Weekend.
Can I bring my spouse?
Yes! As long as they have attended a Discovery Weekend.
Is this a couple's retreat?
Is this a co-ed event?
Yes it is.
What is the cost?
$300 per person. Includes two nights accommodations at a beautiful retreat center, five delicious meals, t-shirt, and Quest materials. Visit our registration page for details about Early Bird registration and group rates.
Can I arrive late or leave early?
Unfortunately, missing any part of the Weekend greatly impacts the process. Our heart is to facilitate an experience that will help bring healing and freedom to your life. Therefore, we require that you attend the entire event.
How should I dress?
Comfortable clothing – jacket or sweater is also encouraged if you happen to be cold natured.
What can I do to prepare?
We will send a letter to all registrants two weeks prior to the event which will contain specific recommendations for preparing for your Quest experience.
How will my experience at The Quest differ from my Discovery Weekend?
By design, The Quest is intended to be a time of reflection and exploration of the individual’s heart and not a time for group-based discussion; however, there will be opportunity for community dialogue during meal times and evening breaks.
I have not attended a Discovery Weekend. Can I attend The Quest?
Unfortunately, no. You must have attended a men's or women's Discovery Weekend prior to attending The Quest.
Why do I have to attend a Discovery Weekend before I can attend The Quest?
As a ministry, we feel that what participants experience during the course of their Discovery Weekend lays the foundation for the truths and principles they will explore during The Quest. Both are in keeping with our primary goal of equipping The Church to affect change in our world.
What do I need to bring?
Comfortable clothes, toiletries, a Bible, and a desire to dig deeper!
Do I need to bring bedding?
No, the retreat center provides all bedding and towels.
Will I be able to room with my spouse? My friends?
Yes! Spouses are automatically assigned the same room, and, we will make every effort to keep friends together too; however, the flow of the registration process may dictate otherwise. Make sure you take advantage of our Group Registration rate and save. Just be sure to include the names of your friends when prompted.
If you have any questions that are not covered above, please feel free to contact us. We would love to hear from you.
